Intelligent Design
Ok, this is the second time I have encountered this problem in recent weeks. Once the customer did it, once I did it to myself.
For those of you working with HP (and other brands I'm sure) All-In-One devices, is it not a really cool design that the USB and Phone jacks are the same size, and that the USB connector will slide securely into the Phone jack? Hmm... Wonder why the PC doesn't see this piece of crap. Checked the connections that are nearly impossible to see, they are tight and secure. Let's drag this POS out and fix things. Oh! There is the problem.
Stupid design.
