I don't know if the show is going to be any good, but I wish someone would get this girl a haircut!

Katrina "Victims"?

Wow, it has been over two years since Hurricane Katrina decimated New Orleans, and the refugees that came to Houston are still asking for handouts, free rent and other assistance.

Why won't they just go home? Here is a woman that had to move in with her mother becuase she and her SEVEN children can't survive on what she makes as a part time cashier. Seventeen years old is the oldest child, and with an 18 month old baby, it is apparent that she still hasn't learned where children come from. Maybe if she spent more time up on her feet than lying on her back she wouldn't have these problems.

Cut these leeches off, or send them back home. Hey, Katrina "Victims" - you're not victims of anything but your own poor choices at this point. Welcome to Texas - Now Go HOME!

Housing changes unravel Katrina victims' lives | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle: "Eight months ago, Michelle Mercadel, a part-time cashier, and her seven children — Netchelle, 17, Kiara, 15, Brittany, 14, Gerald Guy, 9, Brea, 6, Reginisha, 5, and Brian, 18 months — moved in with her mother."
