People are assholes.
Last night we went for Houston's July 4th Fireworks at the Plaza Club in downtown Houston. We were there for the Picnic In The Sky.
I'd been before, and it was one of the best July 4th trips I have had, so my wife and I were really looking forward to going, and taking our seven month old son for his first fireworks.
Here is how it works, the Plaza Club is on the 49th floor of One Shell Plaza, and overlooks the park where the firworks are launched. As a result, the fireworks all explode at near eye level. It is very spectacular.
Now, about 30 minutes before the show, a bunch of people who I will refer to from here on out as "Assholes", start to crowd the windows. This isn't too much of a problem, in past years they have asked these folks to go back to their tables, and they do, and everyone can see the fireworks.
When it was 5 minutes till the fireworks, and this hadn't happened, we asked the management to take care of this problem. They wouldn't. They said that they couldn't make people behave. Evidently, making sure that all their guests have a good time is not one of their priorities. As long as some people are having fun, they are happy.
Fortunately, I brought my digital camera along, and got photographic evidence of my asshole encounter. Pictured below are the main assholes I had to deal with. This dickhead pulled a fucking chair between my family and the window and sat down. When asked to loose the chair and sit on the floor, he replied, "You'll have to kick my ass to get this chair." Just to prove that married couples are usually a lot alike, the woman told my 7 year old nephew to "Go back where you came from!" when he approached the window and was trying to see the fireworks. Stupid old bitch, if you were anyone else, my brother would have beat the fucking life out of your tired old body.

After the Fireworks, I managed to get a good picture of the #1 Asshole, so if you live in Houston, TX and see this guy, watch out, he is one hell of an asshole.
